Yes, we are from New York. What brings you ladies to Montana? Cowboys sir! Haha. And that's how our night started.
The Columbia a local dive (whiskey wind) had a handful of guys drinking in there. The rest were outside shooting off fireworks. Yes, fireworks, not sparklers because here in Montana you can set off fireworks anywhere except state parks. Apparently you can set off fireworks large enough to shake the whole bar. Or hey if you ladies really want to see something head up the road yonder. They shoot fireworks at each other all night from both sides of the street but no worries they shut down the gas stations! Make sure you sit on the "good" side of the road.
Well we met a real friendly local ned Robert who was a food critic. He was so nice to us giving us advice on what and where to go. He even gave us a map out of our car. I know we said we were heading east but Jeremiah at the pool table wanted us to go back to Idaho to see a town that he was from. His one tooth told us maybe we should listen to Robert.
Once again Rebecca asked fifty question and it turned out to be a great educational conversation.
We asked Robert in between his swigs of whiskey an aspirin if he could head us to a place with cowboys. Right right, ladies down the road at the blue moon. So we bought Robert a drink and were off down the road. Kim of excited to see cowboys.
