This is what you do camping

So after setting up camp and painting those oh so important toes it was time to truly experience our first camping experience outside of founders landing with the girl scouts.
We had our lovely neighbors help build us a fire.  Guess we never earned that fire starting badge in girl scouts! Fire going and the rain began to fall even harder. As we sat in our patriotic chairs we wondered what one does while camping in the rain. So we decided to ask our neighbor to the left who happens to be a park ranger. She simply stated "you get wet." Well then ok, we shall get wet and that is what we did. Along with getting dirty with mastiffs and chocolate labs running around and jumping all over us. Thank god we are dog lovers and wanted to get wet and dirty! We continued to sit and get wet; because that's what you do camping. Let's not forget our smores for dinner and on&j for dessert. Well balanced meal if you ask us. Well since it is Fourth of July why not see some fireworks. What's a little down pour when there are fireworks to be seen. So we watched a bit and guess what-got wet! Finally soaked to the bone and shivering it was time to call it a night. Jeanne had the luxury of a water bed-always wanting one as a child this was a great experience. Thanks to the redneck campers next to us we got to enjoy some more awake time. You would think that the sheriff camping two sites down would have stopped this. Nah. Ranger Tom would've stopped it if he was around guaranteed!

Woke up to the same neighbors making a racket; guess they were excited about camping?
