Washington at its finest

So we decided to go visit jeanne's father's step-sister in Colville. Doesn't matter that they have never met or anything. That makes it more of an adventure. She was gracious enough to have us stay in her town house that was built in 1899. A lot of antiques that Rebecca was very impressed by. Beautiful house. We decided to walk to dinner, little did we know that dinner was 8 miles away. Jeanne with her broken foot and flip flops; she was almost crawling by the time we made it home. Dinner was nice with a stellar view of the logging industry.  Some interesting sites on the way home along with on our little tour of the town.  We were able to see the old historic houses of the town, the hospital, beautiful landscape, and lots of deer.

Off to bed in an antique bed and linens. This is totally our style! A little unrest with Chessie the cat but it was all good and thankful for a bed.  Jeanne woke up to a nice warm bath; makes you feel like you are living in the olden days. Breakfast of farm fresh eggs, awesome bread and fresh strawberries. We won't have to eat for the rest of the day-score!  Off to the farm...
