We made it into Yellowstone. What an experience. Our fourth national park. Very educational, very busy! Almost as busy as Disney world during Easter break. Pretty neat that people come from all over the country and the world to see this park.
We entered the park from Montana and this time Rebecca didn't hit the tire when paying at the booth. We stopped at the sign that told us we were half way between the equator and the north pole. At this park animals cross the street and come near you but you are not allowed to feed them or molest them according to the signs. Molest? Yes we know as in bother, but it sounded odd.
We stopped at many geysers that were so interesting to look at but boy did they smell! The water is so hot that you can see it from far away bubbling.
We had to fight our way for parking spots to see certain exhibits. Our next stop was to see a bison in the field. We walked out to a creek but we were bit by bugs so bad we needed to get back to the car. The bison was getting too close for comfort. Rebecca didn't realize those large things can move quickly! We hustled to the car and got the bug spray out.
We decided to take a break and figure out how to turn the safety belt signal off because every time we stopped it would ding. We are responsible drivers but you see at the park there are times when one of us has to hang our body out of the window to take pictures. Especially if we were to stumble across bears. Well we couldn't figure out how to turn off that signal so we couldn't hang out the window for too long before one of us would scream at the fusion to shut up! Poor fusion.
Off to old faithful!
