Rebecca got a little pissed with South Dakota on our way to Jewel Cave. Another National monument. That is number 7 of this trip. Seeing as we tried to get there using gps. Well come to find out it is not on the gps system and we ended up at wind cave or something like that. Our reservation for our tour was at 420 and we needed to be there 30 min ahead of time. Well we were about 30 min away when at wind cave. And Rebecca got quite angry at this point. Driving like a bat out of hell she raced to get us there. We arrived at 415 and low and behold we were still allowed to take the tour. Yay! Lol well this was an hour and a half tour and Rebecca was not thrilled and wanted to go home yet again. It was a pretty cool sight and learned a lot about how the cave was found and the explorers Jan and Herb kahn. I think. We also learned that when volunteers go in to explore each year they must take all their waste with them. Yup peeing in a bag and popping in tin foil and wrapping it up. Nice! Or gross! We made it through the tour without Rebecca punching the tour guide and we were off to the badlands!
